Our Flight Instructors

Staff

Artic’s Air Academy features a professional flight training staff of FAA certificated instructors that are active professionals in the Alaskan commercial flight industry. Our staff has extensive experience teaching Students from the initial private pilot certificate to the airline transport pilot certificate. Our staff participates in training with both the FAA FAST program, Medallion Foundation, AOPA, and conducts air safety training seminars with various organizations throughout the state.

Justin "The Kid" Essian, Flight Instructor, CFI WMU - Kalamazoo Michigan     Fresh from Bad Axe, Michigan (yep, it's a REAL place) in June of 2009 - Justin received his ratings and came to Alaska where  flying is a "Way of Life". He continues to fly and instruct in one of the most majestic and incredible places in the world !!
